Ready, Set, RUN!

Ready, Set, Run!

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping! As nice as it is for some to relax by the pool, many of you have been preparing for months for upcoming running events. There's mud runs, marathons, triathlons, relay runs, there's even a black-light run... The list goes on! Whether you like to run full marathons or taking a jog through the park, running season is upon us and it's time to lace up your shoes and get out there! Whether you're running a full marathon or your cheering from the sidelines, use our marathon inspired temporary tattoos on race day!

Ready, Set, Run!

If you're just getting interested in running, start slow! Walk for whatever length of time feels comfortable to you... Whether that be 10 minutes or 30. Once you feel good walking mix in a few minutes here and there of light jogging. As you practice more and more (like any sport) you'll find that you can run for longer periods of time.

Ready, Set, Run!

Why should you run?

Did you know that running is a great way to alleviate stress, build up stamina, improve your mental and physical health, prevent high blood pressure, and control weight gain? Most marathon runners train for months before their race. However, you don't have to be a seasoned athlete or run a marathon to get outside and exercise. If running isn't your thing, it's easy to find ways to be active! Take the stairs instead of the elevator, take the dogs for a walk, or go for a swim. Got any other ideas on easy ways to stay healthy? We'd love to hear them. Share in the comments below!
