We’re hearing a lot of buzz about temporary tattoos at weddings. There are some VERY creative brides out there, so we think it’s time that we give a shout-out to our favorite wedding tattoos!
We have a fair number of recent brides and brides-to-be around the Temporary Tattoos office, and we all agree that Weddingbee is an awesome source for creative wedding ideas. So, we love seeing Weddingbee brides writing about their fun wedding tattoos. Bride “Mrs. Funnel Cake” shared how she branded her wedding with temporary tattoo favors.
Her guests had a blast “branding” themselves with the signature wedding logo. In the comments of Mrs. Funnel Cake’s post, several brides had questions about applying the tattoos on-site. We recommend providing an inexpensive spray bottle and a few washcloths (and a trash bin for the tattoo paper and plastic sheets) to create a simple temporary tattoo station for your guests.
We also spotted custom heart wedding tattoos over at Offbeat Bride. Bride and groom Sarah and David have their fair share of real tattoos, and they decided to use temporary tattoos as an element in their 50s-style, rockabilly wedding. This wedding looks like one we’d like to attend: grandpas rocking temporary tattoos, awesome dresses, hair, and makeup, and a generally relaxed, fun attitude. Today we’re excited to show you a few more pictures from the bride herself! Thanks, Sarah, for sharing these fun shots of how you used temporary tattoos at your wedding!
Sarah shares her funniest wedding moment:
“All of our tables had a smattering of temporary tattoos, including traditional-style as well as personalized ‘Sarah and David’ tattoos that I designed and had made. We thought people might like them, and possibly one or two might get used. But in seconds, our guests were covered in them. David’s grandfather even had them on his face!”
Looking for more inspiration? Consider incorporating temporary tattoos into your save-the-dates or invitations. In the crazy-expensive wedding world (how much do you want for that bouquet?!), temporary tattoos are crazy-affordable.
